The Milton Icehawks lost to the Hamilton Red Wings, 10-6. Hamilton forced Milton's goalies to work without much rest, finishing with 33 shots and forcing 23 saves. Jonathan Travers made 10 stops and Cosimo Lazzarino made 13. The Red Wings put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow the Icehawks to score on any of their four power plays. The Icehawks outdid their season average for goals scored. Milton averages 2.5 goals per game. Jordan Cartney recorded 26 saves for Hamilton. The Red Wings incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors. The Icehawks ended with 13 minutes in penalty time with four minors and one major. For Milton, Mitch Graham was ejected from the game.
