Lindsay falls to Trenton in overtime, 5-4 (OT)

The Trenton Golden Hawks' Hunter Fargey scored 1:17 into overtime to beat the Lindsay Muskies, 5-4 (OT).

Trenton overcame a two-goal deficit to capture the victory. The Golden Hawks fell behind 4-2 after a goal by Lindsay's Logan DeNoble at 1:16 in the third period. Trenton tied things up at 4-4 on a goal by Aidan Parker at 6:11 in the third period.

Parker had two goals to lead the Golden Hawks to victory.

Trenton's penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on three Lindsay power plays. The Golden Hawks forced the Muskies goalie Boyd Diclemente to work between the pipes, taking 42 shots.

Trenton additionally got points from Zach de Concilys, who also tallied one goal and two assists to lead the team in points. Trenton also got a goal from Danny Liscio as well. Other players who recorded assists for Trenton were Andrew Pizzo, who had two and Kevin Lavoie, Tyler Donaldson, Blayne Oliver, Brodie Butt, Braden Hellems, and Brady Wiffen, who contributed one each.

Lindsay forced Trenton's goalies to work between the pipes, totaling 41 shots and forcing 37 saves. Justin Kapelmaster made 11 stops and Riley Brown made 26.

Lindsay also got points from Joseph Vocino, who also racked up one goal and one assist and Matthew Marchese, who also registered one goal and one assist. John Macdonald also scored for Lindsay. In addition, Lindsay received assists from Brandon Washer, who had two and Kristopher Diclemente, Jack Scanlan, and Matt Tustin, who each chipped in one.

The Golden Hawks incurred 20 minutes in penalty time with five minors. Diclemente rejected 37 shots on goal for the Muskies. Lindsay incurred 20 minutes in penalty time with five minors.
