Hamilton downs Georgetown in overtime, 4-3 (OT)

The Hamilton Red Wings' Otis Goldman scored 4:02 into overtime to beat the Georgetown Raiders, 4-3 (OT).

Hamilton was paced by Goldman, who finished with one goal.

The Red Wings stifled Georgetown's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man.

Others who scored for Hamilton included Luke Sinclair, Ryan Punkari, and Alexander Carlson, who scored one goal each. In addition, Hamilton received assists from Erick Delaurentis, Jason OConnor, Joel Knight, Laine McKay, Ryan Erickson, and Giovanni Foschia, who contributed one each.

Hamilton was unable to stop the Raiders from sending pucks towards the net, and Georgetown eventually piled up 49 shots on goal.

The Raiders were led by Andrew Court, who grabbed one goal and one assist. Court scored 10:36 into the second period to make the score 2-2. Francois Cote assisted on the tally. Georgetown also had goals scored by Carmine Alberga and John Adams, who each put in one. Other players who recorded assists for Georgetown were Steve Hladin, Richard Court, and Josh Dickinson, who each chipped in one.

Mark Sinclair recorded 46 saves for the Red Wings. Hamilton incurred 16 minutes in penalty time with three minors. Georgetown's starting goalie, Jack LaFontaine, made 13 saves and finished with the loss before he was taken out in favor of Marc Williams, who stopped four shots. The Raiders incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors.
