Georgetown pulled out the victory even though it was hit with 18 penalty minutes.

The Raiders were led by Blake Jones, who racked up one goal. Jones scored 12:50 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Georgetown. Steve Hladin assisted on the tally.

Georgetown put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow Hamilton to score on any of its seven power plays.
