The St. Michaels Buzzers pulled out a 4-3 (OT) overtime victory over the Cobourg Cougars on a clutch goal by Thomas Beretta.

St. Michaels came back from a two-goal deficit to capture the victory. The Buzzers fell behind 2-0 after a goal by Cobourg's Matt Carroll at 13:13 in the first period. St. Michaels knotted things up at 3-3 on a goal by Alex Riche at 4:21 in the third period.

The Buzzers were led by Beretta, who grabbed one goal and one assist. Beretta scored 4:58 into overtime to make the score 4-3 St. Michaels. Ian Edmondson picked up the assist.

St. Michaels managed to stay out of the box better than usual, racking up one minor for two minutes in penalty time. The Buzzers wound up below its season average of 14.0 penalty minutes per game. St. Michaels' offense rang up 38 shots on the Cougars' net.

St. Michaels additionally got points from Bron Loiselle, who also had one goal and one assist to lead the team in points. Others who scored for St. Michaels included Joseph Berton and Matt Pepler, who each put in one. More assists for St. Michaels came via Luca Doctor, Luke Branco, A.J. Cobourg also got points from Spencer Holt, who also finished with one goal and one assist to lead the team in points. In addition, Cobourg received assists from Ryan OGrady, who had two and Mitchell Gibson, Jake Baird, and Rory Milne, who each chipped in one.

Argiropoulos rejected 37 shots on goal for St. Michaels. The Buzzers registered zero goals on one power play opportunities. Tyler Lewis made 34 saves for the Cougars on 38 shots. Cobourg registered zero goals on one power play opportunities.
