Cameron Morrison netted a hat trick to lead the Aurora Tigers over the Georgetown Raiders, 3-2. Morrison's first goal came 15:04 into the first period. He then added goals at 7:19 into the second and at 19:03 into the second.Aurora's penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on four Georgetown power plays. The Tigers forced Georgetown goalie Marc Williams to work between the pipes, taking 38 shots. Other players who recorded assists for Aurora were Johnny Curran, who had three and Drake Board, Eric Williams, and Liam Neuman, who contributed one each. The Raiders found themselves short handed often, totaling 18 penalty minutes and allowing six power plays. Georgetown was helped by John Adams, who grabbed one goal. Adams scored 1:05 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Georgetown. Steve Hladin provided the assist. Georgetown also got points from Hladin, who also finished with one goal and one assist. More assists for Georgetown came via Jake Clements, who had one and Anthony Marra, who had two. Andy Munroe recorded 26 saves for Aurora. The Tigers incurred 14 minutes in penalty time with seven minors. The Raiders' Williams stopped 35 shots out of the 38 that he faced.
