Toronto Patriots rips Burlington, 4-0

The Burlington Cougars had trouble finding ways to stop the Toronto Patriots Patriots, which beat Cougars, 4-0.

Jordan Oshowy had two goals to lead Toronto Patriots to victory. Oshowy's tallies came on the power play at 11:49 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Toronto Patriots and 34 seconds into the third to make the score 3-0 Toronto Patriots.

The Patriots excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in five chances. Toronto Patriots' defensive play was more effective than usual against Burlington. The Patriots allow 2.6 goals per game. Toronto Patriots kept the Cougars' goalie busy throughout the game, and Joe Noonan made 33 saves on 37 shots.
