Orangeville falls to Toronto Patriots in overtime, 3-2 (OT)

Marco Bozzo gave the Toronto Patriots Patriots a 3-2 (OT) victory over the Orangeville Flyers when he scored 2:03 into the extra period.

Toronto Patriots was paced by Bozzo, who grabbed one goal.

Orangeville was unable to stop the Patriots from sending pucks towards the net, and Toronto Patriots eventually piled up 52 shots on goal.

Toronto Patriots also got points from Niko Kovachis, who also tallied one goal and one assist and Jeremy Pullara, who also racked up one goal and one assist to lead the team in points. Other players who recorded assists for Toronto Patriots were Tyler Currie, who had two and Nicholas Geiser and Louis DiMatteo, who contributed one each.

The Flyers' offense rang up 36 shots on the Patriots' net. Orangeville found itself short handed often, totaling 26 penalty minutes and allowing seven power plays.

The Flyers were helped by Ian Nichols, who registered one goal. Nichols scored on the power play 14:20 into the third period to make the score 2-1 Orangeville. Orangeville had gotten the advantage when Toronto Patriots' Ryall Ledyard was sent off for interference. Derek Topatigh picked up the assist. Orangeville also got a goal from Kosta Likourezos as well. In addition, Orangeville received assists from Chris Maione and James McLaughlin, who each chipped in one.

Mathew Robson recorded 34 saves for the Patriots. Toronto Patriots incurred 14 minutes in penalty time with seven minors. The Flyers' Wyatt Pickrell stopped 49 shots out of the 52 that he faced. Orangeville registered two goals on seven power play opportunities.
