Toronto Patriots downs Mississauga, 5-2

Marcus Rose grabbed two points to lead the Toronto Patriots Patriots to a 5-2 victory over the Mississauga Chargers.

Toronto Patriots' penalty kill was ineffective, and let in two goals to Mississauga's power play unit.

Toronto Patriots additionally got points from Nicholas Ursitti, who also racked up one goal and one assist to lead the team in points. Toronto Patriots also had goals scored by Tyler Currie, Jacob Hayhurst, and Nicholas Geiser, who scored one goal each. Other players who recorded assists for Toronto Patriots were Mario Ferraro, Beau Browning, Connor Beck, Louis DiMatteo, Nico Gonzalez, and Marco Bozzo, who each chipped in one.

The Chargers' penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on three Toronto Patriots power plays.

Mississauga was helped by Daniel Volpe, who registered one goal. Volpe scored on the power play 2:17 into the third period to make the score 4-2 Toronto Patriots. The Chargers had taken the advantage when the Patriots' Rose got sent off for roughing. Thomas Lattavo picked up the assist. Joseph Molinaro also scored for Mississauga. In addition, Mississauga received assists from Domenic Commisso, Austin Broadhurst, and Vince Figliomeni, who contributed one each.

Toronto Patriots' Emanuel Vella stopped 23 shots out of the 25 that he faced. The Patriots incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors. Alex Lepore rejected 23 shots on goal for Mississauga. The Chargers incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors.
