Tyler Feaver made 29 saves to complete the shutout and led the Whitby Fury to a 4-0 win against the Lindsay Muskies.

Whitby was sparked by Stefan von Engelbrechten, who racked up one goal. Von Engelbrechten scored 17:35 into the second period to make the score 1-0 Whitby. Henry Thompson provided the assist.

The Fury racked up the penalties in the contest, and ended with six minors and one major for 27 minutes in penalty time. The total exceeded the 16.0 minutes per game Whitby had been spending in the box. The Fury put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow Lindsay to score on any of its five power plays. Whitby's defensive play was more effective than usual against the Muskies. The Fury average 3.0 goals allowed per game. Whitby forced Lindsay goalie Boyd Diclemente to work between the pipes, taking 33 shots.

Whitby also got a goal from Ryan Kirkup as well. More assists for Whitby came via Jeremy Wu, Mitch Emerson, Davis Kuksis, and Nik Coric, who each chipped in one.

The Muskies forced their penalty killing units to work especially hard during the game, picking up nine minors and two majors for 28 minutes in penalty time. Lindsay had been averaging 21.0 minutes in penalties per game. The Muskies were held below their usual level of production. Lindsay puts an average of 3.0 pucks into the net per game.

The Fury registered two goals on eight power play opportunities. Whitby ran into serious disciplinary problems during the contest, and Mitchell Burghardt was ejected from the game. Boyd Diclemente made 29 saves for the Muskies on 33 shots. Team's Mackenzie Heber and Troy Oakley were slapped with misconducts and ejected from the game.
