Boyd Diclemente recorded a shutout against the Toronto Patriots Patriots as the Lindsay Muskies picked up a 1-0 win. Matthew Marchese's game-winning tally was the game's only goal. It came at 6:47 in the second period. Lindsay had gotten the advantage when Toronto Patriots' Beau Browning was sent off for slashing. Jack Scanlan provided the assist. The Muskies pulled out the victory even though they were hit with 14 penalty minutes. Lindsay put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow the Patriots to score on any of their seven power plays. The Muskies' offense operated below their season average. Lindsay puts an average of 3.1 pucks into the net per game. More assists for Lindsay came via Austin Brown, who had one. Toronto Patriots did not reach the goal total it has come to expect this season. The Patriots average 3.6 goals per game. The Muskies were unable to stop Toronto Patriots from sending pucks towards the net, and the Patriots eventually piled up 34 shots on goal. Lindsay's Diclemente stopped 34 shots out of the 34 that he faced. The Muskies registered one goal on three power play opportunities. Mathew Robson made 26 saves for Toronto Patriots on 27 shots. The Patriots incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors.
