Toronto Patriots downs Orangeville in overtime, 4-3 (OT)

The Toronto Patriots Patriots' Tyler Currie scored 1:14 into overtime to beat the Orangeville Flyers, 4-3 (OT).

Toronto Patriots came back from a two-goal deficit to capture the victory. The Patriots trailed 2-0 after a power play goal by Orangeville's Connor Stack at 4:29 in the first period. Toronto Patriots knotted things up at 3-3 on a goal by Darren Nesbitt at 12:56 in the second period.

The Patriots were led by Currie, who had one goal and one assist.

The Flyers were unable to stop Toronto Patriots from sending pucks towards the net, and the Patriots eventually piled up 43 shots on goal.

Toronto Patriots also had goals scored by Beau Browning, Luke Carter, and Jeremy Pullara, who scored one goal each. More assists for Toronto Patriots came via Ryall Ledyard, Niko Kovachis, and Connor Beck, who each chipped in one and Jacob Hayhurst and Marco Bozzo, who contributed two each.

Orangeville additionally got points from Stack, who also registered one goal and one assist and Ian Nichols, who also tallied one goal and one assist. In addition, Orangeville received assists from Lucas Smilsky, who had two and Colin Rigney and Devon Gillham, who each chipped in one.

Mathew Robson rejected 21 shots on goal for Toronto Patriots. The Patriots incurred 18 minutes in penalty time with four minors. Wyatt Pickrell made 39 saves for Orangeville on 43 shots. The Flyers incurred 18 minutes in penalty time with four minors.
