Toronto Jr. Canadiens downs Milton, 7-4Buckingham Downsview Arena Sat, Oct 11, 2014 Story by Narrative Science.
The Milton Icehawks fell to the Toronto Jr. Canadiens Junior Canadiens, 7-4. Toronto Jr. Canadiens forced Milton's goalies to work between the pipes, taking 41 shots and forcing 34 saves. Tyler Lewis made 25 stops and Cosimo Lazzarino made nine. The Junior Canadiens stifled the Icehawks' power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. Toronto Jr. Canadiens surpassed its usual scoring output this season. This season, the Junior Canadiens average 3.5 goals per contest. Toronto Jr. Canadiens' defensemen played an important role in the offense, chipping in two goals. The Junior Canadiens were helped by Anthony Repaci, who registered one goal and one assist. Repaci scored 14:46 into the first period to make the score 5-0 Toronto Jr. Canadiens. Ryan Kruss provided the assist.
