The Milton Icehawks gutted out a close 5-3 win against the Kingston Voyageurs.

No lead was more than two goals during the contest, and the winning goal was scored by Josh Chiarot at 18:44 of the third period.

Chiarot was all over the ice for Milton, as he grabbed two goals in the win.

The Icehawks' penalty kill was ineffective, and let in three goals to Kingston's power play unit. Milton got an offensive boost from its blueliners, who contributed two goals during the game.

Milton additionally got points from Jake Baird, who also had one goal and one assist. Milton also got a goal from Alex Riche as well. In addition, Milton received assists from Anthony Baxter, who had two and Johnathon Schaefer, Lucas Martellacci, and Chris Poletek, who each chipped in one.

Team's Shackelton and Jordan Anderson were slapped with misconducts and ejected from the game. Matt Penta rejected 15 shots on goal for the Voyageurs. Kingston incurred 12 minutes in penalty time with six minors.
