Marcus Semiao made 28 saves to complete the shutout and led the Aurora Tigers to a 2-0 win against the Oakville Blades.

Aurora was paced by Michael Longato, who registered one goal. Longato scored 10:59 into the second period to make the score 1-0 Aurora. Noah Delmas assisted on the tally.

Referees had their hands full with a major incident at 19:57 into the third period. Four fighting penalties were dished out along with two game misconducts.

The Tigers put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow Oakville to score on any of its three power plays. Aurora's defensive play was more effective than usual against the Blades. The Tigers gives up 2.2 goals on average per game. Aurora kept Oakville's goalie busy throughout the game, and Daniel Mannella made 35 saves on 37 shots.

Eric Williams also scored for Aurora. Other players who recorded assists for Aurora were Daniel Mantenuto, Drake Board, and John Curran, who each chipped in one.

The Blades' penalty box was a popular destination as the team totaled 10 minors and one major for 35 minutes in penalty time. Oakville had been averaging 17.0 minutes in penalties per game. The Blades could not produce up to their normal offensive output. Oakville averages 4.0 goals per game.

The Tigers totaled 13 minutes in penalty time with four minors and one major and went 1-for-10 on the power play. Aurora ran into serious disciplinary problems during the contest, and Nicholas Erb was ejected from the game. Team's Brandon Hughes and Vince Palermo were slapped with misconducts and ejected from the game.
