Connor Hogg grabbed two points to lead the Cobourg Cougars to a 5-1 victory over the Orangeville Flyers. Cobourg stifled Orangeville's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. The Cougars kept the Flyers' goalie busy throughout the game, and Wyatt Pickrell made 35 saves on 40 shots. Cobourg also got points from Connor Armour, who also had one goal and one assist to lead the team in points. Cobourg also had goals scored by Liam Grande, Dawson Theede, and Taylor Gauld, who each put in one. Other players who recorded assists for Cobourg were Ryan Taylor and Austin Veleke, who contributed one each. Orangeville did not reach the goal total it has come to expect this season.
