Liscio's hat trick boosts Trenton over Milton, 9-2

The Milton Icehawks could not stop the Trenton Golden Hawks' Danny Liscio, who tallied a hat trick in a 9-2 win.

Liscio got on the scoresheet 41 seconds into the first period. He then added goals at 15:13 into the first and at 1:02 into the second.

Trenton's penalty kill excelled, as the Golden Hawks gave up one goal despite allowing nine power plays.

Trenton forced Milton's netminders to work hard to keep the puck out of the net, taking 52 shots and forcing 43 saves. Cosimo Lazzarino made 21 stops and Tyler Lewis made 22. The Golden Hawks could not stay out of the penalty box, as the team accrued 34 minutes in penalties during the game.

Trenton additionally got points from Kevin Lavoie, who also grabbed one goal and three assists and Robert Smythe, who also registered one goal and one assist. Trenton also had goals scored by Liam Morgan, Michael Siddall, Nick Santoro, and Hunter Fargey, who scored one goal each. Other players who recorded assists for Trenton were Christian DiFelice, Chrisitian Lloyd, and Braden Hellems, who contributed one each and Andrew Pizzo, Matt Pizzo, Zach de Concilys, and Aidan Parker, who each chipped in two.

The Icehawks could not stay out of the penalty box, as the team accrued 62 minutes in penalties during the game.

Milton was led by Jake Baird, who racked up one goal and one assist. Baird scored 19:06 into the third period to make the score 9-2 Trenton. Alex Riche provided the assist. Milton also got a goal from Sean Perichak as well. In addition, Milton received assists from Johnathon Schaefer and Mitch Graham, who contributed one each.

Justin Kapelmaster rejected 18 shots on goal for Trenton. The Golden Hawks registered three goals on 14 power play opportunities. Team's Mitch Rooney and Sean Walter were slapped with misconducts and ejected from the game.
