The Trenton Golden Hawks and the Stouffville Spirit were evenly matched throughout their contest, but Trenton made the most of its opportunities and won, 4-2. No lead was more than two goals during the contest, and the winning goal was scored by Kevin Lavoie at 18:49 of the third period. The Golden Hawks were sparked by Lavoie, who registered one goal. Trenton excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in four chances. The Golden Hawks did not reach the goal total they have come to expect this season. Trenton averages 7.0 goals per game. The Golden Hawks' offense rang up 37 shots on Stouffville's net. Trenton also had goals scored by Christian DiFelice, Chrisitian Lloyd, and Brady Wiffen, who scored one goal each. Other players who recorded assists for Trenton were Danny Liscio, Michael Siddall, Luke Hincenbergs, Zach de Concilys, Nick Santoro, Zach Kercz, and Hunter Fargey, who contributed one each.
