St. Andrews College takes care of St. Francis High School early, wins 6-0

The St. Andrews College Saints jumped out to a four-point advantage by the end of the first period and beat St. Francis High School, 6-0.

St. Andrews College was led by Kyle Hunter, who had one goal and one assist. Hunter scored 3:50 into the first period to make the score 1-0 St. Andrews College. Otto Saarimaa assisted on the tally.

St. Francis High School was unable to stop the Saints from sending pucks towards the net, and St. Andrews College eventually piled up 46 shots on goal.

St. Andrews College also got points from JD Falconer, who also racked up one goal and one assist, Austin Cho, who also finished with one goal and two assists to lead the team in points, and Mac Lewis, who also grabbed one goal and one assist. Others who scored for St. Andrews College included Justin Fregona and Emil Hiiri, who each put in one. More assists for St. Andrews College came via Darren Iwai, who had two and Matthew Thom, Quentin Campbell, and Alex MacDonald, who contributed one each.

St. Francis High School's offense was handcuffed by the Saints' defensive play, and St. Francis High School managed only eight shots on goal during the game. St. Francis High School did not rack up many penalties in the contest, tallying only one minor for two minutes in penalty time.

Cole Chapman made eight saves for St. Andrews College on eight shots. The Saints incurred four minutes in penalty time with two minors and had no power play opportunities. Ryan Pakulski recorded 40 saves for St. Francis High School. St. Francis High School registered zero goals on one power play opportunities.
