The Ridley College Tigers and the St. Andrews College Saints skate to 5-5 tieSt. Michaels Rink Sun, Jan 11, 2015 Behind two goals from Connor Hill and one goal and two assists from Christian Girhiny, Ridley College tied St. Andrews College 5-5. The Tigers gave up more goals than its normal season average. Ridley College is averaging 2.4 goals against for the season. Ridley College additionally got points from Girhiny, who also racked up one goal and two assists to lead the team in points. Others who scored for Ridley College included Mat Skripchenko and Nicholas Prestia, who scored one goal each. More assists for Ridley College came via Patrick MacDonald, who had two and Brendan Lochead, Charles Levesque, and Noah Tooke, who each chipped in one. The Tigers were unable to stop the Saints from sending pucks towards the net, and St. Andrews College eventually piled up 38 shots on goal. The Saints' defense let in more goals than it usually has this year. St. Andrews College gives up 1.7 goal per game. Team's forwards weren't the only contributers offensively, and the team's defensemen showcased their scoring touch with two goals. St. Andrews College also got points from JD Falconer, who also grabbed one goal and one assist, Otto Saarimaa, who also had one goal and one assist, and Austin Cho, who also finished with one goal and one assist. St. Andrews College also got a goal from Adam Sinclair as well. In addition, St. Andrews College received assists from Mac Lewis, who had two and Justin Fregona and Reid Yochim, who contributed one each. Evan DeBrouwer recorded 33 saves for Ridley College. The Tigers incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors. Matthew Galajda made 15 saves for St. Andrews College on 20 shots. The Saints incurred four minutes in penalty time with two minors.
