The St. Andrews College Saints and the Upper Canada College Blues skate to 3-3 tie

Upper Canada College trailed St. Andrews College by two in the second period, but the Blues did not give up and the game ended in a 3-3 tie.

The Saints stifled Upper Canada College's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. St. Andrews College's offense rang up 38 shots on the Blues' net.

The Saints were led by Alex MacDonald, who grabbed one goal and one assist. MacDonald scored 3:05 into the second period to make the score 2-1 St. Andrews College. Austin Cho assisted on the tally. Others who scored for St. Andrews College included Justin Fregona and Griffin James, who scored one goal each. Other players who recorded assists for St. Andrews College were JD Falconer and Quentin Campbell, who each chipped in one.

Upper Canada College was helped by Lee Marlowe, who registered one goal. Marlowe scored 13:57 into the second period to make the score 3-2 St. Andrews College. Alex Solomos picked up the assist. Upper Canada College also had goals scored by Saverio Imbrogno and Sean Medeiros, who each put in one. More assists for Upper Canada College came via Michael Wood, Mats Gavelin, Greg Marks, and Jackson Suboch, who contributed one each.

Cole Chapman recorded 14 saves for St. Andrews College. The Saints incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors. Jack Pendrith made 35 saves for the Blues on 38 shots. Upper Canada College ended with no penalties and went 0-for-5 on the power play.
