St. Andrews College rolls over Upper Canada College, 8-1LaBrier Family Arena Wed, Nov 19, 2014 St. Andrews College had a two-goal lead after two periods and cruised the rest of the way en route to an 8-1 win over Upper Canada College. St. Andrews College's penalty kill excelled, as St. Andrews College gave up zero goals despite allowing seven power plays. St. Andrews College stifled Upper Canada College's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. St. Andrews College forced Upper Canada College goalie Jack Pendrith to work between the pipes, taking 38 shots. St. Andrews College bested its season scoring average. This season, St. Andrews College averages 5.9 goals per contest. St. Andrews College was helped by Alex MacDonald, who finished with two goals and one assist. MacDonald scored the first of his two goals on the power play at 16:22 into the first period to make the score 2-0 St. Andrews College. St. Andrews College earned a power play opportunity when Matthew Baker was put in the box for boarding. Emil Hiiri picked up the assist. MacDonald's next tally on the power play made the score 8-1 St. Andrews College with 2:41 left in the third period. Austin Cho assisted on the tally.
