The Bentley Generals survived a determined comeback attempt by the Brantford Blast on the way to a 3-2 win. Bentley made the score 3-1 on a goal by Kyle Sheen at 4:28 in the third period, and Brantford got as close as 3-2 when Brandon Dietrich scored 15:12 into the third period. The Generals were led by Sheen, who racked up one goal and one assist. Bentley stifled the Blast's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. The Generals' offense rang up 33 shots on Brantford's net. Bentley also got points from Kyle Bailey, who also registered one goal and one assist. Randall Gelech also scored for Bentley. Other players who recorded assists for Bentley were Craig Weller, Scott Kalinchuk, and Chris Neiszner, who each chipped in one. The Blast were helped by Chris Leveille, who had one goal. Leveille scored 13:28 into the first period to make the score 2-1 Bentley. Chris Rebernik provided the assist. In addition, Brantford received assists from Jeff Caister and Joel Prpic, who contributed one each. Travis Yonkman made 18 saves for Bentley on 20 shots. The Generals incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors. Brantford's Brett Leggat stopped 30 shots out of the 33 that he faced.
