Aurora downs Kingston, 7-2

Taylor McCloy had one point to lead the Aurora Tigers to a 7-2 victory over the Kingston Voyageurs.

The win by Aurora clinched the best of seven series at 4-0.

The Tigers excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in four chances. Aurora's offense rang up 40 shots on Kingston's net.

Aurora also got points from Kory Kennedy, who also finished with one goal and one assist, Adam DiBrina, who also grabbed one goal and one assist, and Robert Angiolella, who also registered one goal and one assist. Aurora also had goals scored by Drake Board, Dylan Sikura, and Mihkel Poldma, who each put in one. Other players who recorded assists for Aurora were Curtis Warren, who had two and Johnny Curran and Calvin Higley, who each chipped in one.

The Voyageurs kept the Tigers' goalie busy throughout the game, and Kevin Entmaa made 36 saves on 38 shots.

Kingston was helped by Alex Tonge, who tallied one goal. Tonge scored 13:38 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Kingston. Adam Moodie provided the assist. Kingston additionally got points from Brett Seney, who also finished with one goal and one assist to lead the team in points. In addition, Kingston received assists from Spencer Lee and Brandon OQuinn, who contributed one each.

Aurora incurred 14 minutes in penalty time with seven minors. Sam Tanguay rejected 33 shots on goal for the Voyageurs. Kingston incurred 14 minutes in penalty time with seven minors.
