The Kingston Voyageurs tried to dig themselves out of a two-goal hole, but the Aurora Tigers held on for a 3-2 victory.

Aurora took a 2-0 lead during the third period, only to have Kingston storm back on a Brandon OQuinn goal 14:01 into the third period to pull to one goal down.

The win gave the Tigers a 2-0 lead in the best of seven series.

Curtis Warren was all over the ice for Aurora, as he finished with two goals in the win.

The Tigers kept the Voyageurs' goalie busy throughout the game, and Sam Tanguay made 30 saves on 33 shots.

Adam DiBrina also scored for Aurora. Other players who recorded assists for Aurora were Taylor McCloy, Noah Delmas, and Dylan Sikura, who contributed one each.

Kingston put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow Aurora to score on any of its four power plays. The Tigers were unable to stop the Voyageurs from sending pucks towards the net, and Kingston eventually piled up 32 shots on goal.

Kingston also got a goal from Brett Seney as well. In addition, Kingston received assists from Adam Brady, Alex Tonge, Brody Heleno, and Jarret Kup, who each chipped in one.

Kevin Entmaa made 30 saves for Aurora on 32 shots. The Tigers incurred 30 minutes in penalty time with five minors. The Voyageurs incurred 32 minutes in penalty time with six minors.
