Ogden Mustangs survived a determined comeback attempt by Phoenix Knights on the way to a 5-4 win. Ogden Mustangs made the score 5-2 on a goal by Dusty Watt at 11:23 in the third period, and Phoenix Knights got as close as 5-4 when Nick Kujawa scored 16:26 into the third period. Ogden Mustangs forced Phoenix Knights goalie Luke Stripp to work between the pipes, taking 33 shots.
