LONDON shut down by Loberg, SOUTHWEST wins, 3-1

LONDON's offensive push was shut down by SOUTHWEST goalie Kayla Loberg, who recorded 20 saves in a 3-1 victory.

SOUTHWEST was led by Celine Frappier, who grabbed one goal. Frappier scored 2:43 into the second period to make the score 2-1 SOUTHWEST. Monica Sokolowski assisted on the tally.

SOUTHWEST capitalized on LONDON's penalties, netting three goals while skating with a man advantage.

Others who scored for SOUTHWEST included Muna Fadel and Sara Mayrand, who scored one goal each. Other players who recorded assists for SOUTHWEST were Savannah Bouzide, who had one.

LONDON's offense rang up 35 shots on SOUTHWEST's net.

LONDON was led by Grace Donaldson, who scored the team's only goal. Donaldson scored 4:44 into the first period to make the score 1-0 LONDON. Rachel Chantler picked up the assist.

SOUTHWEST incurred four minutes in penalty time with two minors. LONDON's starting goalie, Lauren Dubie, made 12 saves and finished with the loss before she was taken out in favor of Kassi Welch, who stopped 13 shots. LONDON incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors.
