BURLINGTON tried to dig itself out of a two-goal hole, but OAKVILLE held on for a 3-2 victory.

OAKVILLE made the score 2-0 on a goal by Christina Putigna at 4:12 in the third period, and BURLINGTON got as close as 2-1 when Jessie Rietveld scored 5:03 into the third period.

Putigna was all over the ice for OAKVILLE, as she finished with two goals in the win.

OAKVILLE excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in three chances.
