Andrew McCann racked up one point to lead the Wellington Dukes to a 3-0 victory over Fort Frances.

Wellington put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow Fort Frances to score on any of its three power plays. The Dukes' offense rang up 33 shots on Fort Frances' net.

Wellington also had goals scored by Mike Robinson and Joe McKeown, who scored one goal each. More assists for Wellington came via Jacob Panetta, Spencer Turcotte, Abbott Girduckis, and Kyle Paat, who contributed one each.

Fort Frances stifled Wellington's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man.

Tyson Teichmann made 23 saves for the Dukes on 23 shots. Wellington incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors. Jordan Cartney rejected 30 shots on goal for Fort Frances. Fort Frances incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors.
