The Leamington Flyers tried their best to erase a two-goal deficit, but the London Nationals would not be denied the victory and hung on to win, 3-2. A goal by Ryan Shipley put London up 3-1 in the second period, but Leamington pulled to within one on Alex Seguin's tally 19:32 into the third period. With the win, the Nationals evened the series at 1-1 in the best of seven showdown. London pulled out the victory even though it was hit with 32 penalty minutes. The Nationals stifled the Flyers' power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. Others who scored for London included Matt Wildman and Derek Todosichuk, who scored one goal each. In addition, London received assists from Anthony Kotsovos, Ryan Wells, Austin Kemp, Mike Whaley, Ryan Tuffin, and Drew Worrad, who each chipped in one. Leamington was helped by Nathan Opblinger, who finished with one goal. Opblinger scored short handed 17:15 into the first period to make the score 1-1. An interference call on Jacob McGhee put the Flyers on the penalty kill. London's Jacob Riley stopped 27 shots out of the 29 that he faced. The Nationals registered two goals on nine power play opportunities. Austyn Roudebush made 17 saves for Leamington on 20 shots. The Flyers incurred 18 minutes in penalty time with nine minors.
