The Kitchener Dutchmen could not hold down the Stratford Cullitons, and Cullitons erased a two-goal deficit en route to a 4-3 win. Stratford never led in the game until netting the game winner. The Cullitons fell behind 3-1 after a goal by Kitchener's Connor Cole at 10:33 in the second period. Stratford knotted things up at 3-3 on a goal by Brett Heaman at 17:11 in the second period. The Cullitons netted the game winner on the power play at 14:21 in the third period on a goal by Heaman. After the loss made the series score 3-1 in the best of seven series, the Dutchmen face elimination next time out. Stratford was led by Tyson Baker, who racked up one goal and one assist. Kitchener was unable to stop the Cullitons from sending pucks towards the net, and Stratford eventually piled up 41 shots on goal. Others who scored for Stratford included Jared Nash and Nick Nigro, who scored one goal each. More assists for Stratford came via Jordan Currie, Ryker Killins, and Jeff McArdle, who each chipped in one. The Dutchmen forced the Cullitons goalie Nicholas Caldwell to work between the pipes, taking 45 shots. Keli Grant also scored for Kitchener. Other players who recorded assists for Kitchener were Keegan Calder and Adam Kawalec, who contributed two each. Nicholas Caldwell made 42 saves for Stratford on 45 shots. The Cullitons incurred 18 minutes in penalty time with nine minors. Marc Williams recorded 37 saves for Kitchener. The Dutchmen incurred 24 minutes in penalty time with seven minors.
