Jordan Schwartz was all over the ice for the Penetang Kings, as he tallied two goals and one assist in Penetang's 6-3 win over the Alliston Hornets. Schwartz's tallies came on the power play at 12:12 into the second period to make the score 1-1 and 17:58 into the second to make the score 4-2 Penetang.The win by the Kings broke a deadlock and gave Penetang a 2-1 advantage in the best of seven series. The Kings forced Hornets' goaltenders to work in net, firing 36 shots and forcing 30 saves. Tyler Brindle made 22 stops and Connor Ryckman made eight. Penetang also got points from Jack Scanlan, who also registered one goal and one assist and Matt Fischer, who also had one goal and three assists to lead the team in points. Others who scored for Penetang included Sammy Gagnon and Myles York, who each put in one. More assists for Penetang came via Hayden Cole, Austin Fischer, Matt Meher, Brayden Laurin, and Craig Robinson, who contributed one each. Alliston was helped by Bobby Sloan, who grabbed one goal. Sloan scored on the power play 1:47 into the third period to make the score 5-3 Penetang. The Hornets earned a power play opportunity when Kyle Burns was put in the box for boarding. David Leblanc assisted on the tally. Alliston additionally got points from Leblanc, who also racked up one goal and one assist and Dakota Brooks, who also tallied one goal and one assist to lead the team in points. In addition, Alliston received assists from Jamie Bennett, Jacob Tuck, and Brendan Spencer, who each chipped in one. Adam Redgate rejected 22 shots on goal for Penetang. The Kings incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors. Alliston incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors.
