The game between the Paris Mounties and the Ayr Centennials was tight through all 60 minutes, but in the end Paris emerged with a 5-3 win. Each team kept the other at bay throughout the game, and Tye Calder secured the win for the Mounties with a goal in the third period. The win by Paris clinched the best of seven series at 4-2. Calder was all over the ice for the Mounties, as he registered two goals in the win. Paris pulled out the victory even though it was hit with 16 penalty minutes. The Mounties kept Ayr's goalie busy throughout the game, and Mitch Figueirdo made 28 saves on 33 shots. Paris additionally got points from Brady Wheelans, who also tallied one goal and one assist and Brodie Smith, who also had one goal and one assist. Paris also got a goal from Merrit Crumback as well. Other players who recorded assists for Paris were Brian Mueller, who had two and Mitchell Harvey, Zack Skubnik, Matthew Small, Clayton Chalmers, Richard Brooks, and Ian Fowler, who each chipped in one. The Centennials put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow Paris to score on any of its six power plays. Ayr's offense rang up 34 shots on the Mounties' net. The Centennials were led by Adam Fisher, who tallied three goals. In addition, Ayr received assists from Brett Gibson, Austin Sine (AP), Jeff Howlett, Eric Hackborn, Andrew Richard, and Riley Clipper, who contributed one each. Zach Shomphe made 31 saves for Paris on 34 shots. Ayr incurred 14 minutes in penalty time with seven minors. The Centennials ran into serious disciplinary problems during the contest, and Howlett was ejected from the game.
