The Lambeth Lancers and the Port Stanley Sailors were evenly matched throughout their contest, but Lambeth made the most of its opportunities and won, 3-2.

The Lancers gained the winning advantage on a goal by Mitch Furlonger 1:48 into the second period and hung on until final buzzer.

After the loss made the series score 3-0 in the best of seven series, Port Stanley faces elimination next time out.

Lambeth was led by Furlonger, who tallied one goal.

The Lancers' offense rang up 46 shots on the Sailors' net.

Lambeth additionally got points from Trevor Daynes, who also finished with one goal and one assist to lead the team in points. Lambeth also got a goal from Warren Hargraves as well. Other players who recorded assists for Lambeth were Mike Golinowski, who had two and Josh Bumpus and Nick North, who contributed one a piece.

Port Stanley put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow Lambeth to score on any of its three power plays. The Sailors forced the Lancers goalie JP Trudell to work between the pipes, taking 34 shots.

Port Stanley was helped by Brandon Finlay, who had one goal. Finlay scored 1:59 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Port Stanley. Connor Tamborro picked up the assist. Alex Weaver also scored for Port Stanley. In addition, Port Stanley received assists from Andrew Yurek, Zachary Zinga, and Josh DenOtter, who each chipped in one.

Trudell rejected 32 shots on goal for Lambeth. The Lancers incurred 14 minutes in penalty time with seven minors. Aiden Brown recorded 43 saves for the Sailors. Port Stanley incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors.
