McOnie leads Sydney Sirens over Brisbane Goannas, 7-2

Kath McOnie had two goals and two assists to lead Sydney Sirens to a 7-2 victory over Brisbane Goannas.

McOnie's tallies came at 1:34 into the second period to make the score 2-2 and 3:49 into the second to make the score 4-2 Sydney Sirens.

Sydney Sirens surpassed its usual scoring output this season. This season, Sydney Sirens averages 2.7 goals per contest. With 33 shots on target during the contest, Sydney Sirens exceeded the 2.3 shots it averages per game this year.

Sydney Sirens additionally got points from Sharna Godfrey, who also grabbed two goals and three assists to lead the team in points. Sydney Sirens also had goals scored by Stephanie Cochrane, Kirsty Crockford, and Laura Morris, who each put in one. In addition, Sydney Sirens received assists from Kaylee White, Anna Ruut, and Andrea Lim, who each chipped in one.
