Dallas Stars (MM) erases deficit to stun LA Jr. Kings (MM), 4-3

Undaunted by a two-goal deficit, Dallas Stars (MM) battled back to claim a 4-3 victory over LA Jr. Kings (MM).

Dallas Stars (MM) never led in the game until netting the game winner. Dallas Stars (MM) trailed 3-1 after a goal by LA Jr. Kings (MM)'s Kohl Donovan at 3:46 in the second period. Dallas Stars (MM) knotted things up at 3-3 on a goal by Carson Kelley at 6:22 in the third period. Dallas Stars (MM) netted the game winner at 8:45 in the third period on a goal by Kelley.

Dallas Stars (MM) pulled out the victory even though it was hit with 14 penalty minutes.

Dallas Stars (MM) put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow LA Jr. Kings (MM) to score on any of its seven power plays.

Dallas Stars (MM) was helped by Andrew Durham, who registered one goal. Dallas Stars (MM) additionally got points from Kelley, who also grabbed one goal and one assist to lead the team in points. Dallas Stars (MM) also had goals scored by Colin OBrien and Blake Delisle, who scored one goal each. In addition, Dallas Stars (MM) received assists from Ryan Heidrick, Chris Beck, Cody Wickline, Caleb Waters, and c Delisle, who each chipped in one.

LA Jr. Kings (MM) stifled Dallas Stars (MM)'s power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man.

Others who scored for LA Jr. Kings (MM) included Shane McMahan and Jared Pike, who each put in one. Other players who recorded assists for LA Jr. Kings (MM) were Nick Klishko, who had two and Doc Gentzler, Jake Vitta, and John Tomlinson, who contributed one a piece.
