Chicago Fury (MM) beats Colorado Rampage (MM) 3-2 after comeback scare

Colorado Rampage (MM) tried to dig itself out of a two-goal hole, but Chicago Fury (MM) held on for a 3-2 victory.

Chicago Fury (MM) took a 3-1 lead during the third period, only to have Colorado Rampage (MM) storm back on a JJ (James Jr.) Huerena goal 17:30 into the third period to pull to one goal down.

Chicago Fury (MM) was paced by Randall Wolf, who registered one goal. Wolf scored 3:50 into the third period to make the score Chicago Fury (MM). Joe Kinsella provided the assist.

Chicago Fury (MM) excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in three chances.

Chicago Fury (MM) also got points from Jack Nile, who also finished with one goal and one assist to lead the team in points. Garrett Riebling also scored for Chicago Fury (MM). In addition, Chicago Fury (MM) received assists from Scott Swanson, Andrew Bussey, and Jeremy Norway, who contributed one a piece.

Colorado Rampage (MM)'s penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on six Chicago Fury (MM) power plays.

Colorado Rampage (MM) also got a goal from Grant Anderson as well. More assists for Colorado Rampage (MM) came via Jack Suter and Artem Nekrasov, who each chipped in one.

Bryan Abell made 20 saves for Chicago Fury (MM) on 22 shots. Chicago Fury (MM) incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors. Jacob Weatherly recorded 13 saves for Colorado Rampage (MM). Colorado Rampage (MM) incurred 14 minutes in penalty time with seven minors.
