Boston Advantage (MM) survives LA Jr. Kings (MM) comeback, wins 2-1

LA Jr. Kings (MM) tried to dig itself out of a two-goal hole, but Boston Advantage (MM) held on for a 2-1 victory.

A goal by Thomas Munichiello put Boston Advantage (MM) up 2-0 in the third period, but LA Jr. Kings (MM) pulled to within one on Evan Weinger's tally 17:57 into the third period.

Boston Advantage (MM)'s Rich DOrtenzio was a brick wall in net, as he came up with 28 saves and let only one puck past him. DOrtenzio certainly lowered his goals against average, which was 3.45 entering the contest.

Boston Advantage (MM) excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in six chances.

Boston Advantage (MM) also got a goal from Patrick Holway as well. In addition, Boston Advantage (MM) received assists from Pat Flynn, Nate Indelicato, Joe Villari, and Anthony Wyse, who each chipped in one.

LA Jr. Kings (MM)'s penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on four Boston Advantage (MM) power plays.

More assists for LA Jr. Kings (MM) came via Shane McMahan and Nick Klishko, who contributed one a piece.

Boston Advantage (MM) incurred 12 minutes in penalty time with six minors. Tyler Caronia recorded 18 saves for LA Jr. Kings (MM). LA Jr. Kings (MM) incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors.
