Mac Flewelling was all over the ice for the Penetang Kings, as he tallied two goals and two assists in Penetang's 11-1 win over the Midland Flyers. Flewelling's tallies came at 12:01 into the first period to make the score 2-0 Penetang and 8:03 into the third to make the score 8-1 Penetang.The win by the Kings clinched the best of seven series at 4-0. Penetang forced Flyers' goaltenders to work without much rest, launching 47 shots and forcing 36 saves. Marco Colangelo made 27 stops and Andrew Best made nine. Penetang also got points from Nate Archer, who also registered one goal and one assist, Jordan Schwartz, who also had one goal and one assist, Ryan Shaw, who also tallied one goal and one assist, Craig Robinson, who also racked up two goals and three assists to lead the team in points, and Ryan Young, who also registered one goal and two assists. Matt Fischer also scored for Penetang. More assists for Penetang came via Hayden Cole, Dan Hogan, Graham Haley, Kyle Burns, and Tyler Marchand, who each chipped in one and Jack Scanlan and Matt Meher, who contributed two a piece. Midland was led by Matt Brown, who scored the team's only goal. Brown scored on the power play 14:14 into the first period to make the score 2-1 Penetang. The Flyers had gained a power play chance when Scanlan was whistled for slashing. Cam Russell picked up the assist. The Kings' Adam Redgate stopped 16 shots out of the 17 that he faced. Penetang incurred 24 minutes in penalty time with seven minors. Midland incurred 26 minutes in penalty time with eight minors.
