Tyler Beaulieu lifted the Port Stanley Sailors to a 4-3 victory with a hat trick against the Lucan Irish. Beaulieu notched his first tally 5:03 into the first period. He then added goals at 12:33 into the second and at 8:38 into the third.The win by Port Stanley clinched the best of seven series at 4-3. Lucan's power play was ineffective against the Sailors' penalty kill, which allowed zero goals while shorthanded. Port Stanley stifled the Irish's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. The Sailors kept Lucan's goalie busy throughout the game, and Tyler Beattie made 27 saves on 31 shots. Port Stanley additionally got points from Alex Weaver, who also registered one goal and two assists. More assists for Port Stanley came via Zachary Zinga, Brad Daly, Mark Brisson, and Connor Tamborro, who each chipped in one. Port Stanley was unable to stop the Irish from sending pucks towards the net, and Lucan eventually piled up 42 shots on goal. The Irish were helped by Zach Beaumont, who racked up one goal. Beaumont scored 12:50 into the first period to make the score 1-1. Spenser Talbot provided the assist. Others who scored for Lucan included Nathan Marcil and Tyler Richardson, who each put in one. In addition, Lucan received assists from Mitch Smith, who had one. The Sailors' Ricky Corkum stopped 39 shots out of the 42 that he faced. Port Stanley incurred 20 minutes in penalty time with 10 minors. Lucan incurred 16 minutes in penalty time with eight minors.
