The Lucan Irish were firing on all cylinders against the Port Stanley Sailors, and when the final buzzer sounded Irish emerged with a 4-1 win. Lucan evened the best of seven series at 3-3 and forced a deciding game seven. Mitch Smith had a great game for the Irish, netting two goals. Smith found the back of the net 17:39 into the first period to make the score 2-1 Lucan and again while 15:22 into the third to make the score 4-1 Lucan. Lucan's penalty kill excelled, as the Irish gave up zero goals despite allowing six power plays. Lucan stifled Port Stanley's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. The Irish forced the Sailors goalie Ricky Corkum to work between the pipes, taking 36 shots. Others who scored for Lucan included Keiron Cobban and Mitch Moran, who each put in one. Other players who recorded assists for Lucan were Mike Worby, Ryan Martin, Kody Tremblay, Zach Beaumont, and Andrew Reichert, who contributed one a piece. Port Stanley stifled Lucan's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. The Sailors were led by Josh DenOtter, who scored the team's only goal. DenOtter scored 5:25 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Port Stanley. Dalton Good picked up the assist. The Irish's Tyler Beattie stopped 20 shots out of the 21 that he faced. Lucan incurred 26 minutes in penalty time with eight minors. Corkum rejected 32 shots on goal for Port Stanley. The Sailors incurred 20 minutes in penalty time with five minors.
