Detroit Fighting Irish uses early goal to top Bloomington Jr Blaze, 2-0

Detroit Fighting Irish beat Bloomington Jr Blaze, 2-0, in a contest where the winning goal was scored in the first period but the game remained close throughout.

Ken Winter provided Detroit Fighting Irish with the game-winning tally when he scored 12:50 into the the first period. James Smith provided the assist.

Detroit Fighting Irish was led by Winter, who finished with one goal.
