The Stayner Siskins took home the 5-2 victory over the Erin Shamrocks. After the loss made the series score 2-3 in the best of seven series, Erin faces elimination next time out. The Shamrocks were unable to stop Stayner from sending pucks towards the net, and the Siskins eventually piled up 44 shots on goal. Stayner was ineffective while on the power play, as it was held to two goals off of nine man advantages. The Siskins were helped by Jesse Anderson, who grabbed one goal. Anderson scored 18:20 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Stayner. Ryan Hyndman assisted on the tally. Stayner also had goals scored by Cooper Martin, who had two and Kyle Lafreniere and Dakota Hynes, who each put in one. Other players who recorded assists for Stayner were Quinton Bruce, who had two and Brendan Skidmore, Sean Healy, Ryan Hudson, Ricky Darrell, and Jason Seeley, who contributed one a piece. Erin forced Stayner goalie Taylor Trace to work between the pipes, taking 32 shots. The Shamrocks were led by Cosimo Morin, who had one goal. Morin scored on the power play 14:03 into the third period to make the score 4-2 Stayner. Erin had gotten the advantage when the Siskins' Hudson was sent off for tripping. Tyler Nieuwendyk picked up the assist. Adam Gibson also scored for Erin. More assists for Erin came via Patrick Reay, Travis Knight, and Chris Grenier, who each chipped in one. Trace rejected 30 shots on goal for Stayner. The Siskins incurred 16 minutes in penalty time with eight minors. Tom Denstedt recorded 39 saves for the Shamrocks. Erin incurred 20 minutes in penalty time with 10 minors.
