The xSt. Thomas Stars tried their best to erase a two-goal deficit, but the xChatham Maroons would not be denied the victory and hung on to win, 5-4. xChatham took a 5-3 lead during the third period, only to have xSt. Thomas storm back on a John Warren goal 6:04 into the third period to pull to one goal down. Charlie Izaguirre was all over the ice for the Maroons, as he tallied one goal and two assists in the win. Izaguirre scored 3:35 into the first period to make the score 1-1. Nate Pietens provided the assist. xChatham's offense rang up 32 shots on the Stars' net. The defensemen of the Maroons were also effective in xSt. Thomas' zone, and came away with two goals. xChatham also got points from Kyle Brothers, who also tallied one goal and one assist. Others who scored for xChatham included Connor McKinnon, Blayne Oliver, and James McEwan, who each put in one. In addition, xChatham received assists from Tanner Ferguson and Adam Arseneault, who contributed one a piece and Brayden Hopkins and Michael Verboom, who each chipped in two. xSt. Thomas additionally got points from Alex Morgan, who also had one goal and two assists. Spencer Hutchinson also scored for xSt. Thomas.
