The Amherstview Jets used a sparkling performance by James DAndrea to take down the Port Hope Panthers, as the netminder did not allow a goal in Amherstview's 3-0 shutout victory. Cody Jodoin was all over the ice for the Jets, as he registered two goals in the win. Jodoin's tallies came at 2:20 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Amherstview and 19:13 into the third to make the score 3-0 Amherstview. Amherstview's penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on five Port Hope power plays. The Jets kept Port Hope's goalie busy throughout the game, and Branson Schell made 36 saves on 39 shots. Amherstview also got a goal from Andrew Fullerton as well. Other players who recorded assists for Amherstview were Brett Yake, Zach Masterson, Cassidy Bruni, and Josh Leblanc, who contributed one a piece.
