The xTrenton Golden Hawks used a sparkling performance by Denny Dubblestyne to take down the Lindsay Muskies, as the netminder did not allow a goal in xTrenton's 5-0 shutout victory.

Lindsay's power play was ineffective against the Golden Hawks' penalty kill, which allowed zero goals while shorthanded.

xTrenton put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow the Muskies to score on any of their 10 power plays. The Golden Hawks' defensive play was more effective than usual against Lindsay. xTrenton averages 2.9 goals allowed per game.
