The Kitchener Dutchmen's Adam Kawelic(APM) had a big offensive game, scoring two goals and contributing one assist in his team's 5-2 win over the Listowel Cyclones. Kawelic(APM)'s tallies came on the power play at 11:07 into the second period to make the score 2-2 and 10:58 into the third to make the score 4-2 Kitchener.Kitchener forced Listowel goalie Tanner Topham to work between the pipes, taking 46 shots. Kitchener also got points from Keli Grant, who also registered one goal and one assist and Jacob Cascagnette, who also had one goal and one assist. Kitchener also got a goal from Kegan Blasby as well. More assists for Kitchener came via Clayton Greer, who had two and Mac Nichol, Keegan Calder, and Connor Cole(APM), who contributed one a piece. The Cyclones were helped by Ben Shelley, who racked up one goal. Shelley scored 7:21 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Listowel. Tim Nauta picked up the assist. Kenny Huether also scored for Listowel. Marcus Del Conte made 24 saves for the Dutchmen on 26 shots. Kitchener avoided the penalty box for the entire game and scored three goals off of six power plays. Topham recorded 41 saves for Listowel. The Cyclones incurred 12 minutes in penalty time with six minors and had no power play opportunities.
