Shawville Pontiacs beats Renfrew Timberwolves 6-2 as Coovi-Sirois gets hat trick

Guillaume Coovi-Sirois netted a hat trick to lead Shawville Pontiacs over Renfrew Timberwolves, 6-2.

Coovi-Sirois' first goal came 13:06 into the second period. He then added goals at 9:13 into the third and at 19:37 into the third.

Renfrew Timberwolves' 12 penalties came back to haunt it, as Renfrew Timberwolves let up four goals while on the penalty kill.

Shawville Pontiacs' penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on three Renfrew Timberwolves power plays. Shawville Pontiacs kept Renfrew Timberwolves' goalie busy throughout the game, and Matt Gagne made 27 saves on 33 shots.

Shawville Pontiacs also got points from Lucas Driscoll-McKinnon, who also registered one goal and three assists, Mathew Labrosse, who also grabbed one goal and one assist, and Liam Poirier, who also had one goal and two assists. More assists for Shawville Pontiacs came via Wyatt Dumont, who had one and Anthony Rea, who had two.

Renfrew Timberwolves could not produce up to it normal offensive output. Renfrew Timberwolves puts an average of 4.5 pucks into the net per game.
