Huge game by Jasiek boosts St. Louis AAA Blues (MM) over Ohio Blue Jackets (MM), 6-3

Behind a great game by Alex Jasiek, who had two goals and three assists, St. Louis AAA Blues (MM) defeated Ohio Blue Jackets (MM), 6-3.

Jasiek's tallies came at 1:39 into the first period to make the score 1-0 St. Louis AAA Blues (MM) and 15:51 into the third to make the score 6-3 St. Louis AAA Blues (MM).

St. Louis AAA Blues (MM) forced Ohio Blue Jackets (MM)'s netminders to work without much rest, ripping 44 shots and forcing 38 saves. Jimmie Thomas made six stops and Bailey Seagraves made 32. St. Louis AAA Blues (MM) found itself short handed often, totaling 20 penalty minutes and allowing five power plays.

St. Louis AAA Blues (MM) also got points from Christian Hoffmeister, who also had one goal and one assist. Others who scored for St. Louis AAA Blues (MM) included Zack Bross, Nick Kunin, and Andrew Schwietz, who each put in one. In addition, St. Louis AAA Blues (MM) received assists from Thomas Stahlhuth, who had two and Bradely Johnson, Charles Combs, Jacob Wilson, and Michael Davies, who contributed one a piece.

Ohio Blue Jackets (MM) put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow St. Louis AAA Blues (MM) to score on any of its five power plays.

Ohio Blue Jackets (MM) was helped by Jordan Rose, who tallied one goal. Rose scored 14:24 into the third period to make the score 5-3 St. Louis AAA Blues (MM). MITCHELL PERRAULT assisted on the tally. Ohio Blue Jackets (MM) also had goals scored by Ryan Murphy and Joe Urbanic, who scored one goal each. More assists for Ohio Blue Jackets (MM) came via Ryan Solomon and Brock Rumbaugh, who each chipped in one.

Joe Staely rejected 22 shots on goal for St. Louis AAA Blues (MM). Ohio Blue Jackets (MM) incurred 20 minutes in penalty time with 10 minors.
