Perth Blue Wings almost clawed its way back from a three-goal deficit, but Almonte Thunder managed to pull out a 4-3 win in the end. Almonte Thunder led by three goals at one point and ended with the victory. The largest advantage in the game came when Almonte Thunder's Cameron Cornwall's scored at 4:01 in the second period to put Almonte Thunder up 3-0. Andrew Rowbotham was all over the ice for Almonte Thunder, as he had two goals in the win. Rowbotham's tallies came on the power play at 13:51 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Almonte Thunder and 2:03 into the third to make the score 4-2 Almonte Thunder.
